Spay and Neuter

Why should you spay or neuter your dog or cat?

Dr. Zink in surgery

Not only does spaying and neutering help control over population in our community, it also provides health benefits for your pet. Our doctors can help guide you to select the best age appropriate for your pet.

Before scheduling a spay or neuter at our hospital, a physical examination is required.  A healthy pet is better able to recover from anesthesia and surgery. Preoperative blood work will screen for any potential medical issues which could affect the recovery of your pet.
